THE 9TH ICKLESHAM CASUALS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Tenterden Golf Club was the venue for the 9th Icklesham Casuals Golf Tournament which took place on Wednesday, 13th July with twelve players competing for the trophy.

THE COMPETITORS

In a low scoring competition it was won for the first time by Steve Beale who accumulated 20 stableford points and took the title by one point from runner-up Richard Forrest with Dale Glazier in third place. Richard and Dale finished level on 19 points but were separated under a count back system over the last nine holes.

Andy Vickers took the nearest the pin prize on the 7th hole with Dave Coombes winning the award for the most points scored on holes 13 to 18.
