2016 Christmas Golf Event

CHRISTMAS GOLF 2016

The Icklesham Casuals Christmas Team Golf Competition took place at Seaford Head Golf Course on the morning of Saturday, 31st December with the thirteen competitors assembling at 9.45 am when the draw was made and handicaps set over a cup of coffee and a bacon sandwich with three teams of three players and two pairs.

THE TEAMS

The first ball was struck at 10.30, the fog lifted and an enjoyable but competitive nine holes followed. The winning team was the trio of Tony Forster, Tim Linch and Dan Marsh closely followed by Mike Beaumont, Felix Sullivan and Hugh Sullivan with the team of Steve Beale, Bob Baker and Andy Vickers in 3rd place. The two pairs of Chris Baker and Jeff Beale and David Mayne and Keith Swallow occupied joint 4th place. Felix Sullivan took the prize for nearest the pin on the 10th hole and thank you to Bob Baker for once again organising the competition.
