2015 Tournament

THE 8TH ICKLESHAM CASUALS GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 8th Icklesham Casuals Golf Tournament took place on Friday, 10th July at Sweetwoods Park Golf Club in Cowden. Fourteen competitors took part including new participants in Paul and Adam Sully and Dave Coombes, who was over from his home in France for a few days.

THE COMPETITORS

It was another very enjoyable day with good weather and the tournament was again closely fought with Mike Beaumont coming out a narrow winner from Wayne Bumstead who was runner-up, with Bob Baker finishing in 3rd place.

Dave Coombes took the trophies for both longest drive and nearest the pin on the 17th hole, while two-times previous tournament winner George Potter this year took the ‘Wooden Spoon’ with Paul Sully awarded the prize for the shortest drive.

A big thank you to Bob Baker for once again organising the event.
