2015 Christmas Golf Event

CHRISTMAS GOLF 2015

The Icklesham Casuals Christmas Golf Event took place this year on Monday, 28th December. It was switched to Seaford Head Golf Course as the original venue of Wellshurst Golf Club near Horam was closed due to the wet weather. The day could not have been better with bright sunshine and the thirteen participants had a very enjoyable ten holes which included the nearest the pin competition.

THE TEAMS

The players were drawn into five teams of two and one of three and it was the three-ball of Wayne Bumstead, Steve Fuller and David Mayne that triumphed (thanks mainly to Wayne and Steve!). Ollie Beaumont won the prize for nearest the pin on the 10th hole.

It was great to see Steve Fuller again who was over for Christmas from Australia and the event was once again expertly organised by Bob Baker.
