THE 15TH ICKLESHAM CASUALS GOLF TOURNAMENT

Another new venue for the Icklesham Casuals Golf Tournament with the event this year taking place at Poult Wood Golf Club, a 5474 yard par 68 course set in picturesque woodland, three miles north of Tonbridge. There were only seven competitors this year but maybe not surprising after the country got back to normal after the Covid pandemic.

Colin Cooke, playing in the tournament for only the second time, took the trophy on 28 stableford points with Bob Baker and Andy Vickers completing the top three positions. Tony Forster was ‘nearest the pin’ winner on the 5th hole and Nick Sparks on the 12th hole while Andy Vickers took the prize for the best holes 13 to 18 with 10 points.
